I have the same Issues with my i30 1.6 crdi manual I have had a new EGR Valve and the injectors reprogrammed but its still not right. I am also on the 9th visit other issues include rubber peeling from steering wheel and gear knob and laquer on roof bars but main problem is hesitation on cold start low rpms and hill climbs.
