Jun 7, 2008. #14. Hi all, I have a Freelander 2 HSE registred Jan 2008. The car is perfect in every way with no mechanical issues. It has the premium audio system and I was expecting it to have DAB radio. According to the manual, when pressing the FM button repeatedly, it should switch between FM/DAB.
I counted over 20 times in a matter of 3 minutes that Carplay would take over the radio. Not only did the radio stop playing but nothing would play. Navigation would continue on Waze, but not the radio. I tried via cable and bluetooth, removing and forgetting the phone from the car and the car from the phone and the problem remains.
